Miley Cyrus fans who were hoping to get a glimpse of her new film L.O.L sometime soon may be disappointed, as the movie has been pushed back to be released sometime in March of 2012, or a couple months afterwards.
Due to low funds at Lionsgate, the production company has put off the release of the film even more than it had originally planned. The movie, also starring Demi Moore and Ashley Greene was first slated for a mid-2011 release after filming in the fall of 2010.
A scene was also cut out of the movie where the main character Lola (Miley) was seen smoking with her friends. Lionsgate originally pushed back the film after Miley’s bong scandal, fearing it might hurt the sales of the movie. In order to stay on the safe side, they have also cut the scene from the theatrical version of the film.
